Congratulations to Alex Meffe, Grade 12, Class of 2022 who was recently recognized at the Thorold Runway of Recognition dinner. The second week of competition at the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games will see a high volume of Niagara athletes hoping to stand atop the podium.
Nikola Mitrovic and Kennedy Millin play for Team Ontario in volleyball, while track and field athletes include Grace Tennant, Shannon Swinson, Trinity Tutti, Noah Dommasch and Owen Konkle. Matthew Martel will hit the greens in golf, while the not-surprisingly substantial roster of rowers from Niagara includes: Owen Bartel, Payton Gauthier, Stephen Harris, Shane Keagan, Hailey Mercuri, Teagan Orth, Nikolas Schramm, Kai Bartel, Riley Pisek, Cait Whittard, Nicholas Murray-Coplan, Malarie Jones, Madeson Scott, Stella Bittman and Lucas Maroney.
