FSF3U - French - University

This course offers students extended opportunities to speak and interact in real-life situations in French with greater independence. Students will develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as their creative and critical thinking skills, through responding to and exploring a variety of oral and written texts. They will also broaden their understanding and appreciation of diverse French-speaking communities, and will develop skills necessary for lifelong language learning.  PREREQUISITE: FSF2D - French

FEF3U - Extended French - University

This course provides opportunities for students to communicate about concrete and abstract topics in various situations. Students will consolidate and refine their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing by applying language learning strategies, as well as creative and critical thinking skills, in a variety of real-life contexts. Students will develop their knowledge of the French language through the study of contemporary French authors and well-known French European authors. They will also deepen their understanding and appreciation of diverse French-speaking communities, and will develop skills necessary for lifelong language learning. Pre-requisites: FEF2D
